JAKARTA NEW YEAR CONCERT featuring Ananda Sukarlan's LIBERTAS, January 3rd 2010
We wish you a Merry Christmas and A Happy, Prosperous New Year to all of you!
This will be the 5th anniversary of JNYC, and we are happy that in only 5 years it has grown into a cultural landmark for the capital city of Indonesia, a much awaited event for every first Sunday of the year and an inspiring moment to face the new year. We are very grateful for the public who has travelled as far as from Australia and neighbouring Asian countries who come for this event.
If you have acquired the tickets through sms and email, we would recommend you to come early to fetch your entrance to avoid heavy congestion at the entrance of the hall minutes before the concert starts. The receptionists will be opened 1 hour prior to each concert (starting at 3 p.m and 8 p.m), and the later you come the further you could park your car from the hall. You can enjoy coffee and cocktails at the lobby of the hall starting 1 hour prior to each concert and during the 20-minute intermission when the stage will be prepared for LIBERTAS.
We are not planning to sell tickets on the day of the concert, since all tickets will have already be booked through email and sms before. If you have not booked your tickets, please do so through Chendra at ycep@yahoo.com or 0818 891038 (the tickets for the 3 p.m concert is almost SOLD OUT -- we are planning to put additional seats, and please do not wait for the last moment for acquiring your ticket for the 8 p.m concert as well).
You can also acquire all CDs and music scores of Ananda Sukarlan at the hall of Graha Bhakti Budaya, Taman Ismail Marzuki which will be on sale for public the whole day of concert. We are sorry that we cannot accept credit cards.
