Bandung and
Bali :
- On Thursday, July 29th Ananda's colossal work
"Stanza Suara" will be premiered to inaugurate the huge ITB International Choir Competition & Festival. This 8-minute work contains the theme song for the next festivals, and it is scored for big choir, orchestra and an array of angklung (the West Javanese traditional instrument) players. The piece is about the origin of sound and its transformation to music, based on a poem by Indonesia's prominent poet Hasan Aspahani.
The performance will take place at the
Aula Dirgantara, IPTN (near the airport of Bandung) at 7.30 p.m. The conductor will be Indra Listiyanto. This hall is not normally used for concerts but it was chosen for the inauguration to take place due to its large capacity. We are grateful for the sophisticated sound system & engineers sponsored by House of Piano. However, it is almost sold out, so please reserve immediately if you want to attend this colossal performance to Shelty at 0813 200 222 60.
