The kitchen, the play's pivotal setting, is where Kalyla has grown to espouse both her mother's and nanny's values and beliefs. It is through this listening of their life experiences in the kitchen that Kalyla eventually embodies them as her own to shape her life as she knows it. This play is adapted from a short story of the same title by Lily Yulianti Farid.
A post-show dialogue will be conducted after the show.
