Shigeaki Iwai has been developing a long term video project entitled
''Family as between ordinary and extraordinary'' since last year. He
is researching for what is the contemporary image of family through
the finding details of family life in three countries, such as
Indonesia, Thailand and The Philippines. Followed by activity in
Thailand at last year, he is working with nine families in Indonesia
as the second phase in this project.
At the forum lenteng, he will try to explain about the concept and
show some footages which are taken in Thailand and Indonesia. Also he
wishes to discuss with gathering people about the family issue in
Indonesia.
