Bahasa Ibu, Presentation of the Literature Award and panel discussion Language: Indonesian Yayasan Kebudayaan Rancagé dedicates itself to the preservation of the (local) mother tongues of Indonesia and awards those who in a particular year best deserve to be credited for creating literature in their mother tongue. In 2009 the awards will be presented to authors using Sundanese, Javanese and Balinese. To complement this ceremony the Erasmus Huis organizes with Yayasan Rancagé a panel discussion, featuring introductory lectures by Dr Dick van der Meij (researcher at the Center for the Study of Religion and Culture van de Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah, Jakarta) and Prof. Dr. Chaédar Alwasilah (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Bandung). Dr Ajip Rosidi will act as the moderator. The speakers will describe the role of the mother tongue in the past as well as in presentday Indonesia. The Sundanese musical band of Nano S will grace the session with their performance.
Bahasa Ibu, Penyerahan Hadiah Sastera Yayasan Rancagé dan diskusi panel Dalam bahasa Indonesia Yayasan Kebudayaan Rancagé memberikan hadiah sastera buat para sasterawan yang dianggap besar karyanya dalam bahasa ibu setiap tahunnya. Tahun ini pada pertemuan ini hadiah akan diberikan kepada penulis sastra dari daerah Sunda, Jawa dan Bali. Dalam rangka ini Erasmus Huis bersama Yayasan Rancagé mengorganisir diskusi panel dengan ceramah oleh Dr. Dick van der Meij (sekarang bekerja di Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah, Jakarta) dan Prof. Dr. Chaédar Alwasilah, (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Bandung). Dr. Ajip Rosidi yang akan menjadi moderator. Ceramah-ceramah memberi informasi megenai peran bahasa – bahasa ibu di masa lalu dan masa kini di Indonesia. Pertemuan akan diramaikan oleh kelompok musik Nano S (Sunda).
Bahasa Ibu, Uitreiking Rancagé Literatuur Prijs en paneldiscussie Voertaal: Indonesisch Yayasan Kebudayaan Rancagé zet zich in voor het behoud van de (lokale) moedertaal in Indonesië en geeft jaarlijks de Rancagé literatuur prijs voor diegene die zich in zijn of haar moedertaal via literatuur dat jaar het meest verdienstelijk heeft gemaakt. Dit jaar, tijdens de bijeenkomst, zullen de prijzen naar auteurs van de taalgebieden Sunda, Java en Bali gaan. In dit kader organiseert het Erasmushuis met Yayasan Rancage een paneldiscussie met lezingen door Dr. Dick van der Meij (thans werkzaam bij the Center for the Study of Religion and Culture van de Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah, Jakarta) en Prof. Dr. Chaédar Alwasilah (met een aanstelling aan de Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia in Bandung). Dr. Ajip Rosidi zal optreden als moderator. De lezingen zullen informatief ingaan op de rol van de moedertaal in het verleden en in het huidige Indonesië. De bijeenkomst wordt opgeluisterd met muziek door de groep van Nano S (Sunda).
